I have two computers, ipod question?

I have two computers, i heard that if you plug your ipod into one computer and upload/download all the songs, then plug it into another the ipod will delete all of the memory/songs on it. this to prevent people from going to friends houses and getting there songs without paying for them. is this true?

You can make copies of your ipod songs to multiple computers. However, when you try to play a song on the second computer it will ask you for your iTunes id, so it can download a license key. I think you can have up to 3 copies.

1. If you click cancel or dont erase when the popup comes on, and then click manually sync ipod, you'll be fine to LISTEN to your ipod on other computers.

2. If you want to download off your ipod to other computers, then download ipodcopy, from http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/ipodcop...
